The tour final of the GazettE’s nationwide tour, which began in November of last year, was held at Yokohama Arena on January 11. The title of the performance was “LIVE TOUR13-14［MAGNIFICENT MALFORMED BOX］FINAL CODA.”
That day, twelve thousand people showed up to watch the performance. Even after the starting time had passed, the performance failed to begin and the crowd began to become restless. But suddenly the venue went dark as if there had been a power outage and the members appeared onstage one-by-one along with a sound effect track. They performed flamboyantly among cheers that resembled screams as fireworks and smoke appeared during “INSIDE BEAST,” pulling the audience into their world all at once. The voltage of the packed venue heated up all at once with the MC, “Let’s not think of anything except having fun!”
They created a fantastical atmosphere with the occasional ballad and brought everyone in the venue together with consecutive high-tempo songs. It was a performance in which everyone could feel the GazettE’s unique worldview.
"We were able to go on this amazing tour thanks to all of you," said vocalist RUKI. The band ended their first performance of 2014 with a final jump along with all the fans in the packed venue.
At the end of the performance, they announced that they will release a DVD in May and will begin a fan club tour starting in March. The band will release a DVD of their world tour “the GazettE WORLD TOUR13 Documentary” on February 26, but the surprise of the new announcements created a frenzy of excitement among fans.
